WorkflowHub publisher and Journal forum
Volodymyr and other interested ESG folks, Carole is starting the WorkflowHub Publishers and Journal Forum on 9th May 2024 and have invited some friends & family in the journalsphere for the inaugural meeting: - Anita De Waard (Elsevier) - Scott Edmunds (GigaScience) - Iain Hrynaszkiewicz (PLoS, Director, Open Research Solutions) - Matt Cannon (Taylor & Francis, Head of Open Research), Do you have other contacts with publishers we could invite, who may be interested in FAIR workflow publishing? It may make sense that we start small and then grow the "club" as the vision materialises, so perhaps check with Carole before sharing the agenda for the first meeting. Volodymyr, you mentioned someone at Episciences? I think we can invite them right away if the time works. See agenda for 9th May: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EdntONueCgk5AYPKYJZUlCSVm4TFjEXXrcRvsNIH... BTW, BMJ has also just made data and code sharing mandatory: https://doi.org/10.1136/bmj.q324 -- Stian Soiland-Reyes, The University of Manchester https://www.esciencelab.org.uk/ https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9842-9718 Please note that I may work flexibly - whilst it suits me to email now, I do not expect a response or action outside of your own working hours.
