D3.2 publication draft

Dear all, As you know we have to provide the deliverable: “D3.2 Publication on the Pulsar Network, integrated in workflow management systems”. For this reason you can find here a link to the manuscript summarising our work: https://docs.google.com/document/d/15LjWCS3lWW2j4Czw1_TW1ve0qHSCSd6p-DerYmTC... Please edit it in track mode, and add all your feedback and suggestions. In the next days I’ll add all citations and start working on the Deliverable 3.2 (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LrPZ_ktuQvREGp-Up_ZTUXo4eqM2bHfj2-9ymYrD...) for the final upload on the participant portal. Currently, our target is to upload it on zenodo/biorxiv for the first week of August, and attach it to the Deliverable. What is missing: the section about TESP and WfExS. I’d like to integrate a section about TESP and, if we can provide the proof of concept required, also the integration with WfExS. In this case we will modify the manuscript accordingly. Next steps: Until 31st July 2025, 12.00 pm, please review the manuscript in suggestion mode. First week of August I’ll integrate changes and I’ll publish the first version on biorarxiv or zenodo. We will include the manuscript in the last deliverable of our WP, to be uploaded on the Participant Portal. Thank you all for the feedbacks and suggestions, Marco

Dear all, I’ve added an Author List section, after references, at the end of the manuscript. Please add yourselves, with name/surname, institution and e-mail. Of course, also feedback and suggestions to the manuscript are more than welcome. Kind regards, Marco

Dear Marco, I have been rewriting the paragraph about WfExS and TES . Maybe the style is not synchronised with the narrative of the manuscript, so feel free to change it. I also have a question, as we (BSC group) do not have yet a reference manuscript to cite WfExS-backend, should we add a paragraph briefly introducing what it is? Dear JM, dear all I’ve introduced WfExS in section: Standardized job submission and workflow portability While the section dedicated to WfExS/TESP, with the Proof Of Concept is: Other Workflow management systems integration I would go with WfExS as method is in the first section, while TESP and the PoC should be in the Results section. Then we can add a paragraph in the Discussion section. Currently we are missing those paragraphs (and the PoC). Please keep in mind we need to urgently publish a first draft by the first week of august, to deliver D3.2. I’ll send everybody another reminder later today. Kind regards, Marco
