[galaxy-dev] Conf files?

Hi, I am running local galaxy and I just wrote a script that allowed me to create a config file for Gbrowse (*.conf) but I dont think Galaxy supports *.conf files. I tried to save the file but Galaxy saved it under "Download" name without extension . What can I do to make Galaxy supports *.conf files? Thank you, Minh.
