Hi Dan:

Thanks I have installed these test data managers...

I miss some of the features of the old system

e.g. lookup by name at ucsc or ncbi, automatic building of a specified set of indices after download.

Are those cool features really gone now or did i miss something?

The second dialog (choose the source for the reference genome) is not at all clear.

is this going to reorder what has been downloaded?

Is there a reason not to always use GATK - ( i think that means,  by chr size, descending)?

GATK is the only tool I know that is picky about reference order.

Hi Brad,

Galaxy doesn’t come with any Data Managers in the distribution, so you’ll need to install them from a toolshed. Here is the Data Manager category with with is currently available in the test toolshed.: http://testtoolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu/repository/browse_repositories_in_category?id=83f763caf629aa54

In the future we’ll make the fact that there aren't any Data Managers installed more obvious.  Please let us know if you encounter further difficulties.

Thanks for using Galaxy,

Dan
