Hi Björn, thank you for your fast answer! I already walked through these pages. Thus I understood the basics of a dependency-file. The problem is: I don't know how to load it into my local galaxy installation. The only way I can see is by uploading it to ToolShed. But I would like to avoid that while I'm still learning to create these things ;) Best, Alexander 2015-06-09 17:16 GMT-05:00 Björn Grüning <bjoern.gruening@gmail.com>:
Hi Alex,
here are some informations: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/ToolDependencyRecipes https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/ToolDependenciesTagSets https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/PackageRecipes https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/SimpleRepositoryDependencies
But the best way probably is to learn from examples: https://github.com/galaxyproject/tools-iuc/tree/master/packages
Feel free to ask if you have a concrete example, we will help you to get this in!
Cheers, Bjoern

Hi,
I would like to create a wrapper for a program. For that I would like to test it, but I just found how to create a tool in galaxy. I couldn't find anything about how to create a package as a dependency.
Can someone give me some help here?
Best, Alexander
