Hi Andrew, We actually do have a parameter type called drilldown. Just like standard select lists, these can can be generated statically or dynamically. They can be checkboxes or radio buttons and be hierarchical (choosing a higher option explicitly passes the lower options for e.g. command-line building) or not. One example: https://usegalaxy.org/tool_runner?tool_id=toolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu%2Frepos%2Fd... on a bed file with dbkey set to hg18, notice the "Choose Tables to use" option: Here is the Genomespace exporter tool with radio buttons, https://usegalaxy.org/tool_runner?tool_id=genomespace_exporter: Thanks for using Galaxy, Dan On Nov 12, 2014, at 1:04 PM, Andrew Warren <anwarren@vbi.vt.edu> wrote:
Hi all,
I was wondering if there were any existing implementations of, or any plans for, a drill down selection component that supports thousands of items? For example a taxonomy based drill down.
Thanks, Andrew ___________________________________________________________ Please keep all replies on the list by using "reply all" in your mail client. To manage your subscriptions to this and other Galaxy lists, please use the interface at: http://lists.bx.psu.edu/
