While it isn't bulletproof yet (restarting jobs that fail due to spot instance reclaims, etc), Cloudman (usegalaxy.org/cloud) does currently have support for running worker nodes as spot instances. When you go to add nodes, just click "Use Spot Instances", and add your spot price.
