- Join the efforts of the Intergalactic Utilities Commission (IUC; IUC maintains and develops Galaxy toolset. The IUC goal is to produce a comprehensive set of tools covering major areas of scientific data analysis (not limited to biology). 
- Contribute tutorials to Galaxy Training Network (GTN;
- Improve Galaxy itself by contributing to Galaxy's codebase directly (
