[galaxy-dev] Select from Database as tool option

We have a tool which needs to select its options from a database table. Is it possible to do this with Galaxy i.e. have a drop down list (like with the loc files or genome selector); Can we use the cheetah code or otherwise smash an sql query from the tool? Cheers Dennis -
