[galaxy-dev] About pileups

Hi all, I am implementing a script in Galaxy that runs samtools' pileup command. Although it is running, I always get an empty file. I'm curious: what is the datatype of the output of a pileup/mpileup command? I think I might be having a problem with the output since the output data type might be incorrect.
