2. consistency in the workflow management screen
This is actually all deliberate, though open to debate. We only show the link when there is an obvious primary action. For the "your workflows" list, it wasn't clear to me what that action should be (run vs edit). With shared workflows, there is no edit option. The link from the tool menu is analysis view centric, so we default to run.
For me, clicking on the top "Workflows" button is quicker and easier than using the "Workflows"->"all workflows" link - the button is always visible and takes just one click, as opposed to scrolling down the tools menu and then two clicks to get to the workflows. So by default, when I click on "workflows" I want to run a workflow - default of "run" would work for me. YMMV.
Regarding tiny arrows... 1) we are going to make it so that clicking anywhere in the button will show the popup menu and 2) the arrows are supposed to be large, and the clickable area even larger than the actual arrow. I wonder if there is a browser issue here, can you send a snapshot of how they appear to you?
Here's a screenshot: http://cancan.cshl.edu/labmembers/gordon/files/galaxy_workflow_arrows.png On my screen, the arrow is about the size of a lower-case 'w'. The clickable area is slightly taller, but not much wider. The image includes my mouse cursor pointer - you can see that it's actually larger than the arrow - not the best 'button' option. Also, this is a wide screen - 1920x1200 pixels - lowercase "w" aren't that big... -gordon
