Hi Zhe, Yes, all galaxy calls done from the browser use POST and GET. To see the actual request, use a tool like Firebug to examine the params sent to and retrieved from the server. We store all data by default for reproducibility purposes, but there are scripts to clean up data: http://bitbucket.org/galaxy/galaxy-central/wiki/Config/PurgeHistoriesAndData... Thanks for using galaxy! Kanwei On Wed, Sep 22, 2010 at 7:59 PM, Zhe Chen <zhe@lanl.gov> wrote:
Hi,
Can you tell me the exact underlying communication of Galaxy?
Are they all html POST and GET?
What is the format of data send to server and result send back to client?
BTW, looks like all the data are stored on the server and never be deleted, why? If too many users are using the server, it may cause a problem.
