Hey all; It was great meeting everyone last weekend at beautiful Cold Spring Harbor. Thanks to all of the helpful conversations with RC, Greg and everyone else, I've gotten the Next gen sample submission interface I described ready for inclusion into Galaxy. I put together a big diff with the changes and attached it as an issue: http://bitbucket.org/galaxy/galaxy-central/issue/335/next-gen-lims-interface Initial documentation on setting it up is here: http://bitbucket.org/galaxy/galaxy-central/wiki/LIMS/nglims This is designed to complement the existing functionality in Galaxy. By default it will not be viewable in the main menu, but can be enabled with a flag in the universe_wsgi.ini file. I hope getting this integrated into Galaxy is the first step in getting more eyes on it for further development. I'm very happy to be contributing this.
