Does "series_0|input" work? At a glance, that's what it looks like it might be -- I generally just look at the tool form itself and inspect (Chrome element inspector) the input field.

i'm just using one and #{input} produces an empty string.

tried #{input0} #{input1} #{input[0]) all to no avail.
