uploading big file on local Galaxy
Hi, I have installed Galaxy on our local server, which is up and running. Hi Stefano, I am still configuring my local Galaxy and stuck at displaying reference genome for SAM Tools but I came across this tutorial which explains how to setup ftp site to load to data. It may not be what you want but I thought of sharing it anyway. Hi Stefano In addition to the FTP methods I recommend to use "Data Libraries". See: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/Data%20Libraries/Libraries also look at the configurations in universe_wsgi.ini: library_import_dir user_library_import_dir allow_library_path_paste which gives you many option to access data out side of the Galaxy database/ folder - without duplicating the data.
