Hi, are the GIE still tied to an outdated node version? http://galaxy.readthedocs.io/en/master/admin/interactive_environments.html says: 0.10.X - 0.11.X vintage (https://github.com/erasche/galaxy/blob/gie-docs/doc/source/admin/interactive...)
but also: "We’re working on solutions in this space to provide a better deployment mechanism here and fewer dependencies."
I now have galaxy 15.10 and node v5.11.1 and don’t really want to downgrade my node installation.
best, ido
Hi Ido,
I have not tested a newer node version, so only guarantees for 0.x versions ;) In 16.04 is the new proxy from Eric included that does not use node anymore, this would be one possibility.
A third one is this: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/pull/2385
Hope this helps a little bit, Cheers, Bjoern
