Where to add Account activation
I was reading the link: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/UserAccounts I wonder where should I add the following line of code in the file universe_wsgi.ini user_activation_on = True I tried adding at the end of the code. I also tried to add in the [app: main] However, it is not functioning. Best Regards, Danielle Furtado.
Hi Danielle, are you running the latest Galaxy version? If so you will have a universe_wsgi.ini.sample file included in your Galaxy-Root directory. Please merge the latest changes into your universe_wsgi.ini file. Your user_activation_on options will be included during the merge. You can use "meld" for a graphical merge. Cheers, Bjoern

Hello, Björn has a point on the proper way to upgrade the Galaxy config file. Please do not forget that you have to have your email server set up and have Galaxy connected to it by changing the settings mentioned in the wiki page. Without the server the activation will not be used even if user_activation_on = True. thank you for using Galaxy Martin On Fri, Feb 21, 2014 at 9:03 AM, Björn Grüning <bjoern@gruenings.eu> wrote:
