Yes we are using SQLite. I will look in to switching to MySQL. I know a few people have been discussing this lately, is there a wiki page devoted to this?
There are a few pages that contain most of the information, but I'm trying to consolidate all of this right now.
I found a few errors in the log from todays activity. I've attached a few examples in a text file. The final error relates to the job that I stopped in the admin section. As described, some of these "queued" datasets are not associated with job ids.
I am concerned that if I transfer all the information as is to a mySQL database that I will still have the same problem.
The locking issues will go away with a real database server, and thus these uncaught exceptions will go away. The ultimate result is that Galaxy won't lose track of jobs because of this. --nate
