No action for /admin_toolshed/prepare_for_install
I'm trying to install deseq_and_sam2counts from the main toolshed using the admin interface in galaxy. I get the following error: The resource could not be found. No action for /admin_toolshed/prepare_for_install This is on a server that was installed in May 2012. I had performed an 'hg pull -u' on the server and restarted it to see if that would help which it didn't. I was successful installing this tool with a new install of the server on my laptop. I would prefer not to do a fresh install of this main server since it's in use. Is there a manual method to installing tools like this from the toolshed? -- * *
Hello Pete, When you performed the update to your server (hg pull -u), were you pulling from galaxy-dist? If so, you should be running revision 7404:ec29ce8e27a1. To see what revision you are running, you can type the following in your Galaxy installation directory: hg heads The Galaxy main tool shed is running the tip from the Galaxy-dist repository, which was released last Friday, so you'll need to update your local Galaxy instance to the latest Galaxy release in order to use the tool shed. Hello pete, I missed mentioning that you can download any of the repositories from the tool shed using the Repository Actions pop-up menu. This way you do not have to update your Galaxy server to the latest release. However, be aware that using this manual approach of installing will not provide the many benefits of automatic installation as document in the tool shed wiki: http://wiki.g2.bx.psu.edu/Tool%20Shed On Jul 22, 2012, at 4:22 PM, Greg Von Kuster wrote:
