Galaxy on python 2.7 ?
Hi all, Did anyone try running Galaxy with python-2.7 ? I'm in a need to upgrade from python-2.5, and was wondering if I should use the latest stable python (2.7) or upgrade to a not-so-recent version (2.6.5?). Thanks, -gordon

I don't know of anyone who's tried it with 2.7 yet. We have not tested it, nor do we have prebuilt eggs for it. --nate

Hi Assaf, I tired it right after 2.7 came out and Galaxy does not work out of the box so going with 2.6.5 would probably be best for now. Enis On Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 10:40 AM, Nate Coraor <nate@bx.psu.edu> wrote:
