I can give you a partial answer within a week, once we publish the Training Day schedule. There will be an even more definitive answer once we publish the conference program. I'm not sure when that will be, but it will be before early registration closes.

I'm pretty sure there will be, but I can't speak for others. The last GCC in Europe had a proteomics BoF (https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Events/GCC2013/BoF/Proteomics). I'll encourage another one this year, once the call for BoFs opens.
