Hi Bjoern, If it's not too late to add an opinion - I agree with Pratik that a session on Galaxy Tours would be great and if possible I think it would also be great to include something on the GTN github, so that people could learn a bit about the training material that's available and how they can contribute if they want. Maybe then any relevant best practices for how to use and/or contribute to the training material could be included in that? And in my opinion it could be considered a form of Train-the-Trainer as it would help trainers learn about material that they can use in their trainings. I also think a GTN talk would be good to include if there's a slot, as it would probably be good to give people an update on where things are at and future plans. And I think GCC2017 could be an excellent time to get feedback/input from people in the room on what they think e.g if there are things they think should be changed, improved, what new topics could be added, or what the prioritites should be. If you and others agree maybe that could happen at the workshop, after the talk or during a birds-of-a-feather. Cheers! We have started using it to demonstrate the use of dataset collection for proteomics and short proteogenomics workflows. It is a lot of work - but results are worth it. Today is the deadline to hand-in workshop proposals. Sorry for the late notice. We were thinking of handing in a session about: * GTN github repo + template * Galaxy tours * Best-practices * Some kind of train the trainer * Galaxy-Hub ? A mixture or only parts of it, not sure. Do you think we should do this? Other ideas? What about a Galaxy GTN talk?
