The error that just occurred appears to have erased my history - is there any way to recover the history?
I'm afraid there is no easy way to recover the history. Technically (I believe) it is probably not erased only the cookie that tied your browser to the history got lost. One possible workaround in the future is to go to the 'share history' page (the link appears at the bottom of the history once you have something in your history), and bookmark the link that you see there. That link can be loaded in other browsers or reloaded in the current one if things like the one above happens (this feature in only available on the test site).
