Hi all,
I have BED and WIG files from Gro-Seq but Galaxy did not recognize these files. WHY is that?
Please accept my appreciation

Hello,
One quick guess is that the file extensions did not end with a .bed or a .wig ? But, this is easy to assign. Click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the dataset to reach the "Edit Attributes" form. Here you can set the datatype manually and the appropriate metadata will be detected.
For BED file in particular, it is usually a good idea to go back into "Edit Attributes", after changing the datatype, to manually assign the score column (c5) in the top section of the form.
We hope this is helpful,
Take care,
Jen Galaxy team
