file size limit/authorization
Is there a specific limit to the size of files that one can upload to Galaxy? I have a couple of 7 Gb files that I'm considering uploading (by ftp as suggested), but I don't want to be a "storage hog". Do I need any authorization other than the account that I've registered for? Thanks, David B.
Hi David, No hard quotas are currently enforced at the Galaxy Main instance. Currently, we ask users to stay within these usage limits: User data on server: 50G or less per dataset 200G or less per history Maximum concurrent NGS jobs: 4 or less per user (user managed) If you find that you require additional resources, please consider the alternate options explained at: http://galaxyproject.org/Big%20Picture/Choices Best!
