genome not available on galaxy
Hello, I am a new galaxy user and cannot find my reference genome in the drop down menu. I performed my ChIP seq experiments using S. cerevisiae SK1 strain background. Do you have that genome available for my analyses? Please let me know when you get a chance. Thanks, Mike Michael Law lawmj@rowan.edu<mailto:lawmj@rowan.edu>
Hello, This strain is not included in the public Main Galaxy instance as a built-in genome/index. You can however use it with most tools as a custom reference genome. Instructions are here: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Custom_reference_genome " Quick genome access" has the short list of steps.
