April 2014 Galaxy Update Newsletter: GCC2014 Talk Abstracts due this Friday
Happy April everyone! Three new public Galaxy servers<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#New_Public_Servers>, and one Galaxy Community Log Board entry<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Galaxy_Community_Hubs> were also added in March. However, the big news this month is Upcoming Events<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Events> : - Abstract submission for oral presentations<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Oral_Presentation_Abstract_Submission_Closes_April_4> at the 2014 Galaxy Community Conference (GCC2014)<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#GCC2014:_June_30_-_July_2.2C_Baltimore> closes this Friday, April 4<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Oral_Presentation_Abstract_Submission_Closes_April_4> . - Early Registration<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Registration_is_Open> for GCC2014<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#GCC2014:_June_30_-_July_2.2C_Baltimore> is open. Register now to secure your spot and save a bundle. - Globus World 2014<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Globus_World_2014> is coming up April 15-17, in Chicago. Globus Genomics will have a strong presence. - Registration for the UC Davis 2014 Bioinformatics Workshop<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#UC_Davis_2014_Bioinformatics_Workshop> is also open. - And there are lots of other events<https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/GalaxyUpdates/2014_04#Other_Events> to keep us all out of trouble for the next few months.
