The error that just occurred appears to have erased my history - is there any way to recover the history? - Ross Ross Hardison T. I'm afraid there is no easy way to recover the history. Technically (I believe) it is probably not erased only the cookie that tied your browser to the history got lost. One possible workaround in the future is to go to the 'share history' page (the link appears at the bottom of the history once you have something in your history), and bookmark the link that you see there. That link can be loaded in other browsers or reloaded in the current one if things like the one above happens (this feature in only available on the test site). Share history is now available on all sites. Oh yes, what a great feature this is, since it allows us to load that history and indeed it still throws the error in question. -- Istvan Albert, Research Associate, Bioinformatics Consulting Center, Huck Institute for Life Sciences, Pennsylvania State University http://www.personal.psu.edu/iua1
Good -- so, is there a way that Ross can use this information to restore the cookie(s) and get the rest of his history back? -Cathy On Sat, Feb 25, 2006 at 03:41:06PM -0500, Istvan Albert wrote:

I'll be sending out this information as soon as we figure out the source of the error. -- Istvan Albert, Research Associate, Bioinformatics Consulting Center, Huck Institute for Life Sciences, Pennsylvania State University http://www.personal.psu.edu/iua1
