Hi everyone, I’m currently working on developing training materials for a new Galaxy-based workflow focused on microbiome analysis. While assembling the content, I’ve been thinking about how we can better structure step-by-step guidance for users who are newer to both Galaxy and bioinformatics. Some challenges: Avoiding information overload without oversimplifying Structuring hands-on tutorials to gradually build confidence Ensuring cross-platform consistency (Galaxy EU, US, etc.) Managing tool version differences and dynamic content It feels a bit like Geometry Dash Lite—the material needs to be engaging and progressive, but if it’s too complex too early, users “crash” and disengage. https://geometry-lite.io Would love to hear from others who have created or adapted materials: What formats worked best for you (slides, videos, interactive tours)? Any tips for structuring multi-day workshops? Are there existing templates in the Galaxy Training Network (GTN) you found especially helpful? Thanks in advance,
