I am happy to announce the microGalaxy Hackathon for Tool Development, taking place online on 14 October 2026!
The goal of the hackathon is to dedicate a day to updating and maintaining outdated, highly used metagenomics tools in the Galaxy IUC repository.
The idea is to provide a dedicated block of time for tool maintenance and coordinate efforts across the community. Even if you can only join for a few hours or during the US/AU/EU overlap, you are very welcome to participate.
