List for adminstrators, developers, and PIs of Galaxy Servers that are publicly accessible.
The Galaxy-Public-Servers mailing list is for system administrators, software developers, and principal investigators that are responsible for Galaxy servers that are publicly accessible. By "publicly accessible" we mean that people outside your organization can create an account, upload data, and perform a analysis on the server. It does not mean that there are no limits on the server.
Anyone associated with any platform that is listed on the Galaxy Platforms Directory (https://galaxyproject.org/use/) is eligible and encouraged to be on this list.
This list in no way replaces the Galaxy-Dev list. That list will continue to be the go-to list for most questions about deploying and developing for Galaxy. This list is for threads that are only of interest to those with public servers. Most posts are security notices sent prior to public release
