We are pleased to announce that the final periodic report has reached its next milestone. The European Commission (EC) has issued the payment letter, confirming that all submitted costs have been accepted.
We have reviewed the payment letter (attached) and have no objections (to look at ALU-FR calculation look at "Financial Situation (project overview).pdf"). If you have any comments or observations, please share them with us by Thursday, February 10, 2026, at 17:00 CET. If we do not hear from you by then, we will proceed with the EC.
The University of Freiburg will distribute the second payment once the following conditions are met:
1. EC Transfer: Receipt of the funds from the European Commission.
2. Excess Payments: Partners with excess payment must return their excess upfront payments according to section 7.1.4 of the Consortium Agreement and section 22.3.4 of the grant agreement. We are currently coordinating with the relevant partners to finalize this as soon as possible.
