thanks a lot. I solved it. I finally found the reactivate link :) which was unfortunately dysfunctional (https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/7610) ..

It might just have been deactivated, in which case you can either activate or uninstall the repo in the admin panel -> Manage tools -> Advanced Search -> Deactivated or Uninstalled.
