changing usage indicator
Hi all, Is there a way to change the "Using" indicator at the top right to be a Using/Total for the whole disk (not just Galaxy usage)? - Nik. -- Nikhil Joshi Bioinformatics Analyst/Programmer UC Davis Bioinformatics Core http://bioinformatics.ucdavis.edu/ najoshi -at- ucdavis -dot- edu 530.752.2698 (w)
There is no simple config switch or anything for this - you would need to modify Galaxy in a non-trivial manner to implement this. Let me know if you are interested in doing that and I can try to outline how to modify Galaxy to that. -John On Thu, Apr 2, 2015 at 9:27 PM, Nikhil Joshi <najoshi@ucdavis.edu> wrote:

Hi John, So I figured out a hacky way to do it, but it might be better to code it a little better. :) I basically just had nice_total_disk_usage return "used / total" (which I got from running df as a subprocess), which worked, but still feels hacky. So I'd certainly be interested in a better solution. - Nik. On Fri, Apr 3, 2015 at 5:54 AM, John Chilton <jmchilton@gmail.com> wrote:

Also this hack only seems to work for users who are logged in, but it would be nice for it to work for anyone, logged in or not. On Fri, Apr 3, 2015 at 3:52 PM, Nikhil Joshi <najoshi@ucdavis.edu> wrote:
