All works great, but I was hoping that there's an easy way to remove the "preview" text box from the resulting History pane item (it currently shows the unrendered html tags)?

This should not be happening. If your tool's output dataset has type "HTML", the peek (preview) should say 'HTML file' and nothing else. Please let us know if this doesn't fix your issue. Thanks, J.
