Hi All, One of the people I contacted about a Galaxy Australia / Asia / Pacific community and platform was Sonika Tyagi <https://scholar.google.com/citations?hl=en&user=ysfbgQsAAAAJ&view_op=list_works&sortby=pubdate>, of Monash University in Melbourne. Sonika has been involved in Galaxy for a while and has done workshops in India. She was involved in planning the Galaxy AustralAsia Meeting in 2017. Sonika can't make it to INCOB next month, *but she is interested in the efforts of this group, and would like to be included in discussions.* Sonika also suggested contacting Dr Harpreet Singh, Head of Bioinformatics at HMV Jalandhar, Punjab, about INCOB *and about this group.* What do people think? Should we bring In Sonika? Should we bring in Dr Singh? I'll contact Dr. Singh about INCOB shortly, but I won't mention Galaxy India, unless this group tells me to.
