After checking in with the development team, I confirmed that there are no plans yet to incorporate this new tool. However the team agrees that it does look like a good fit with the current NGS analysis tool set. We encourage you (or anyone else interested) who has created a wrapper to please submit it to the Galaxy community Tool Shed: http://community.g2.bx.psu.edu/
