Interested in organizing a BoF at GCC2026?

Hello GCC2026 Attendees, We are now inviting submissions for Bird of a Feather (BoF) sessions at GCC2026! BoFs are a chance to bring people together around a shared topic, question, or challenge and create space for discussion with others in the community. If there is something you would like to explore with fellow attendees, we encourage you to propose a session. These sessions are meant to be interactive and community driven. You are welcome to structure yours in whatever way makes sense for the topic, whether that means a few short talks, a guided discussion, or a more informal conversation. BoFs will take place during the main conference, with 1-hour sessions scheduled at the end of each day. You are welcome to submit more than one idea. We will do our best to include as many as possible, though similar proposals may be grouped together. To submit your BoF idea(s), please fill out this form<https://forms.gle/2rFwwNCxo3jEcXyP7>. Please keep in mind that BoF sessions are for in-person participation only. The deadline to submit a proposal is June 15, 2026. We encourage early submissions, which will help attendees plan ahead. GCC2026 abstract submissions temporarily reopened

Hello Galaxy Community, We wanted to share a quick update regarding GCC2026 talk abstract submissions. Due to an error, the abstract submission portal closed earlier than intended last night, which may have prevented some community members from submitting before the deadline. To make sure everyone has a fair opportunity to submit, we have reopened the abstract submission portal through today, April 7, at 11:29 PM PT. If you were affected by the early closure, or were still planning to submit, we encourage you to take advantage of this extended window.
