GCC2024 SSA online
Hi all, I was looking at the GCC2024 schedule, and I was wondering (maybe I'm not the only one): 1. Are there any SSA sub-events within GCC2024, that you can participate in / view online? 2. Do you need to pay to see the GCC2024, as a whole, online? 3. Do you need to pay to see the SSA sub-event online? Thank you, Vlad PS: I'll be submitting the pull request for the slides next week.
Hi Vlad wrt 1) we are planing to have a BoF session. Although, we haven't heard anything whether our proposal has been accepted or not, I am pretty sure we will have one wrt 2) on-line participation costs 50Euro see: https://galaxyproject.org/events/gcc2024/register/#virtual-meeting-attendanc... wrt 3) according to (https://galaxyproject.org/events/gcc2024/register/#virtual-meeting-attendanc...): "no access to training, BoFs, or posters/demos will be available virtually". In previous years, we tried to do set up an ad-hoc (free) zoom meeting (with more or less success). This will mainly depend on the location and will be decided on short notice.
