Hi all, We are in the process of organizing the Galaxy Community Conference 2021 <https://www.vibconferences.be/events/gcc2021> and we need your input for the training topic nominations. Why do my datasets keep showing gray?

I have successfully uploaded RNA-seq fastq.gz using FTP. Then I back to Galaxy Server, hover to the left Tools panel and simply click on: Get Data → Upload File → Choose FTP File. I can see datasets that have been successfully uploaded, but they are always grayed in History. The state is waiting to be executed. It has been 20 hours. Is this normal?

Invitation to join the Open Life Science Program

Dear members of the Galaxy community, Yo, Malvika and I are organizing the Open Life Science (https://openlifesci.org/ <https://openlifesci.org/>) program for mentoring and training early-stage researchers and potential academic leaders who want to become ambassadors for Life Science in their communities. The first cohort of this program will run from January to April 2020. Participants of this 15-week mentoring & training program will learn essential knowledge required to create, lead, and sustain an Open Science project, connect with members across different communities, backgrounds, and identities by sharing their experiences and expertise. This program gives a unique opportunity to develop an Open Science project that participants either already have been working on, or want to develop in the near future within life sciences. Galaxy Training Network day - (online) CoFest and community call - 12th of September

Dear all, The Galaxy Training Network is organizing every 3 months one day dedicated to the training community: collaborative work on the training content but also calls with the community. The next day will be on the 12th of September. Anyone who would like to contribute, learn how to contribute to the Galaxy Training Material or just catch up with the community is very welcome to join. During the day, we will have 2 GTN community calls to share news about Galaxy and Training, but also just talk together.
