We are hosting the Papercuts Day this Thursday all over the day,
starting in Australia and finishing in America.
Papercuts Day is a collaboration fest to fix minor but annoying bugs in
Galaxy (should be doable in one day). These bugs are tagged in different
repositories and you can definitely help to find new issues! All the
tags, repositories, links to the calls are here:
If you are interested in fixing these bugs, or want to learn from the
Galaxy developers, please join! Or if you know someone that might be
interested, please also encourage them to join :)
See you on Thursday!
Dave Clements and Beatriz Serrano
Next week on Wednesday starts the '*2nd Galaxy-ELIXIR webinar series:
Open Data Infrastructures to tackle COVID-19 pandemic*'. For 6 weeks,
several speakers from the worldwide Galaxy community will cover the
recent developments in Galaxy highlighting the importance of open
science and infrastructures.
The first one, 'Lessons learned and introduction to the series', will be
next Wednesday at *5 pm CET*, by Anton Nekrutenko and Marius van den Beek.
If you are interested, *please register here*:
Hope to see many of you there!
